Dave will undoubtedly have highlights and links about the game tomorrow morning, but I had a few things to touch on:
Fleury really is the difference between this team being good and great. He is 5-0-0 in his last 5 starts and just makes ridiculous saves no matter how often he's left hung out to dry.
Evgeni Malkin is an absolute man among boys on the ice. You get the impression that if he wants to score, he can literally just take the puck and walk up ice. I really think after the experience he gained last year he is going to be the most dominant player on the ice come April.
Sid continues to raise his game every time some jagoff player or even fanbase tries to get him off his game. Let's call this the "Semin" rule because of Sid's show since Alexander Semin of the Caps blasphemed hockey jesus. We really encourage all players in the NHL to talk trash and by all means, boo him, because believe me he hears it and he'd like nothing more then to send you back to your wretched life with a frown on your face.
This team is really lacking defensively. Mark Eaton is playing like he's waiting for the next high ankle sprain to come. Kris Letang, who is by all means a potential stud, needs to bring his game up. Ryan Whitney need to get back. God do we miss Gonchar.
Lastly, Matt Cooke is a (sorry Dave) "MONSTER" What a player. Jarko Ruutu couldn't hold this man's penis while he took a leak.

Great post Jim. You pretty much nailed every point I would have made. Having Flower back just made the Pens seem more like a real contender..
